MOVING WIND ENERGY LOADS THROUGH SMALLTOWN KANSAS

19 Oct 2016 1:55 PM | NPCA (Administrator)

Isolated small towns occasionally experience some excitement when oversize loads move through their area.  The south central Kansas town of Pratt is located at the crossroads of US 54 and US 281.  Thus, many oversize loads travel through there on a daily basis.  Here is a well written article about wind energy loads passing through that community.  (Beware of the irritating commercial at the beginning of the link, but it is worth the wait.)  http://www.mcphersonsentinel.com/news/20161018/current-wind-turbine-traffic-just-passing-through
